Title: ThinkPad X61 Notebook
Pros: size, look, performance, everything, Extended battery life, Nice docking station
Cons: price, Optical drive not integrated, No touchpad; eraserhead only
Verdict: Our review unit, which included an UltraBase docking station with a dual-layer DVD burner, costs $1724 (as of July 27, 2007). The great performance and features, and its reasonable price, make the X61 our current top choice of ultraportable
Summary: Though the optical drive is not integrated, everything else about this business portable is top-notch, especially battery life.

Title: ThinkPad X60 (Core Duo Processor T2300 1.66GHz, 512MB RAM)
Pros: Extremely portable design; excellent keyboard; fingerprint reader; integrated WWAN radio; great performance; incredibly long battery life when configured with high-capacity battery.
Cons: More expensive than comparable models; lacks built-in optical drive; lacks built-in support for ExpressCards.
Summary: The first ultraportable to accommodate Intel's Core Duo processor, the ThinkPad X60s combines blazing performance and incredible battery life with a full feature set and a compact case. We like it.
