Title: Sony DPP-FP50
Pros: Prints from computers, PictBridge cameras, and memory cards. Can use TV to preview pictures on memory cards. Thermal-dye output is waterproof. Good performance.
Cons: Built-in LCD is hard to read. Front-panel controls are confusing. As with most thermal-dye printers, cost per print is relatively high.
Verdict: The Sony DPP-FP50 lets you preview photos from memory cards on a TV, as well as print from memory cards, computers, and PictBridge cameras. It offers good performance, but the photo quality is a touch below par for a dedicated photo printer.
Summary: Technology: Thermal Dye, Potential Use: Photos Only

Title: Sony PictureStation DPP-FP30
Pros: Easy to operate; relatively inexpensive; speedy
Cons: No memory card slots or on-printer controls; not Mac compatible; high cost per print
Summary: We'd like to see media card slots on the body, but this Sony won us over with its excellent output and easy operation

Title: SonyDPP-FP55
Pros: Fast. Compact. Good image quality
Cons: Not the cheapest. No CompactFlash support
Summary: This portable printer doesn't waste space with A4 output or built-in scanners; it's designed to spit out 6x4 photos, fast, and does so with aplomb

Title: Sony DPP-FP90
Pros: Compact and lightweight, Reasonably quick
Cons: Poor software, Quite expensive
Verdict: Despite some key strengths, ultimate results are a shade disappointing considering the running costs
Summary: The carrying handle on this tiny dye sublimation printer is quite unnecessary as the bare unit only weighs 1.2kg. However, the sticky-out paper tray and external power brick do rather detract from the slick appearance.

Title: DPP-FP70 Picture Station Photo Printer
Pros: Fast, Photos look natural
Cons: Pricey
Verdict: The DPP-FP70 is a good all-around snapshot printer, offering plenty of features, fast printing, and a decent design. But Sony products are rarely the least expensive available, and this device is no different
Summary: The main drag on this fast and feature-rich printer is its comparatively high price.
