Cons: Might be a little too retro for anyone expecting the usual Mario innovation Um, the music's a bit crap
Verdict: If you can accept Mario's return to his original roots and forgive the pared-down, classic gameplay mechanics, you're in for some genuine platforming genius. Throw in a bunch of excellent mulitplayer modes and you're looking at one of the finest DS games
