Cons: Interface is slow and somewhat unintuitive, no hard drive.
Verdict: The 1600 is a great buy for those interested in having a media centre set-up in their living room thanks to its flexible features.
Summary: We hooked the 1600 up to our 32-inch LCD TV via HDMI to test its playback performance and were impressed. Linksys claims the player upscales standard DVD to 720p or 1080i resolution and when put to the test, we found this to be true. Our Star Wars Episode
