Title: Sony HDR-TG3
Pros: Small and lightweight, lightening fast automatic focus, instant on recording, 4GB Memory Stick DUO included, stylish, Component and HDMI-output
Cons: Lacks manual controls, no DV-in so you can't use it to record, HD clips can only be captured on a Intel Mac
Verdict: We were truly and genuinely impressed by Sony's HDR-TG3 camcorder. Small upright camcorders all too often sacrifice video quality and provide gimmicky features, but the HDR-TG3 is a triumph of automated functionality and good quality in a small form ...
Summary: Sony is selling the HDR-TG3 as "the world's smallest and lightest high definition camcorder", and this dinky model certainly lives up to that claim. We take a closer look at this superb new camcorder.

Title: Sony Mini DV camcorder a rare beast
Pros: Superb 1080i image quality, loads of manual features, reliable build quality, intuitive user interface ;
Cons: Not much has changed since last generation's HDR-HC7 ;
Verdict: If you prefer the familiarity and reliability of HDV tape, the Sony HDR-HC9 is one of the best (and only) options on the market. Sticklers for value may want to check out Canon's HV30 though - it's every bit as good, yet cheaper.
Summary: WITH Mini DV's being replaced by the more convenient AVCHD, the HDR-HC9 may be Sony's final foray in the high definition Mini DV market.
