The large capacity AEG L86810 washing machine has highly developed motors and electronics to enable a full 7kg cotton wash at 60°C in 99 minutes – saving you time while being highly energy efficient.It has a clear LCD display with rotary knob and push button selectors enabling wash cycles to be tailored to your needs, and you can store up to 4 tailored programmes allowing easy selection of your regular washes. The delay start feature means that you can input the required finish time and the machine will work out when it needs to start the wash. You can also select a quicker wash option.Its advanced rinse spray system gets laundry wet as quickly as possible and prevents pilling caused by friction between dry fabrics. With over 24 programme combinations including handwash, wool, silk and delicates, and refresh and sensitive options useful for babies and those with easily aggravated allergies. All AEG machines have an 8 minute Biowash phase; this precedes the main wash and ensures that the enzymes in the detergent are released at a temperature not exceeding 40C for optimum stain and soiling removal.The LCD display not only shows programme time and so on, but also indicates if a fault is detected with a F+ number. It also displays the fault description, which the user may be able to fix. Otherwise an engineer needs to be called, but if he has the fault code he can ensure he brings any relevant parts.All materials used in AEG machines are biodegradable or recyclable, and machines have five layers on the cabinet finish, ensuring that even if the case is scratched, it will not rust. Models with spin speeds of 1400rpm and above are fitted with a unique spring-loaded automatic levelling device which compensates for floor unevenness of up to 1cm.
